For most of my life I have been driven by one simple question: How do things work — and how do they fit together?

That question has led me into many different fields: physics, technology, health, martial arts, economics, philosophy, art conservation and consciousness studies. At first these appeared to be completely separate interests. Over time I realised they were all exploring the same underlying principle: coherence.

Everything I do is an attempt to understand how coherent systems emerge — from the human body, to society, to technology, to the structure of reality itself. My background in physics includes work toward a PhD at CERN, but I walked away when the research began to feel like "sitting in the back of Plato's cave, counting shadows on the wall while ignoring the light that cast them."

Since then, decades of work in shamanism, Daoism and the disciplined study of consciousness have shaped a single thread: a practical, first-principles approach to the big questions.

My work is not about promoting ideology or offering simple answers. It is about asking fundamental questions, following evidence wherever it leads, and building practical solutions from first principles.
